Speech Language Pathologist

Jenna Tichauer, M.A., CCC-SLP

Jenna has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2003. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and her Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Kean University.

After graduate school, Jenna worked in a variety of preschool, primary, and secondary school settings in New Jersey, Manhattan, and London. Within these schools, Jenna implemented feeding programs, communication systems, and provided language intervention for children with autism and moderate to profound developmental delays. She has also worked with children birth to age 3 providing family-based intervention within the early intervention home-based therapy model. In addition, Jenna has supervised Clinical Fellows within the school setting to help new graduates earn their Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Jenna is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and certified as a Speech-Language Specialist. In 2005, she was trained in Prompt for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) as well as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Additionally, Jenna was fortunate to have been mentored by Justine Joan Sheppard to appropriately address preschool students with feeding and swallowing needs within the school setting.

In her spare time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, and their dog Finchley. She is excited to be part of the team at Creative Speech Solutions.
