Samantha Notte, M.S., CCC-SLP
Samantha Notte received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Bloomsburg University and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University.
Samantha has clinical experience in a variety of settings including private school, hospital, and private clinic. She has provided speech and language therapy to children ages 2-18 exhibiting severe communication disorders secondary to autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, and cerebral palsy. Samantha feels that it is important to collaborate with parents and other therapists (e.g., occupational and physical therapists) to discuss patients’ needs, sensory integration, and assisted daily living objectives. In doing so, she is able to provide therapy that best meets the individual needs of the children she treats.
Samantha has been trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) Level 1 and in LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning). She has extensive knowledge in the area of augmentative and assistive communication (AAC); her expertise includes programming, providing, and utilizing both high and low tech devices. In the future, she’d like to obtain further training in the areas of oral motor dysfunction and pediatric feeding disorders, as these are areas that interest her.
Samantha is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. She also maintains certification by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist.
Samantha enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach. She is very excited to be part of the Creative Speech Solutions team.
