Speech Language Pathologist

Elizabeth Davidek , M.A., CCC-SLP

Liz received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers College, where her passion for communication emerged through studying Spanish as a second language. After graduation, Liz worked as a corporate paralegal for a decade before discovering her dream career in speech-language pathology. Liz completed a speech-language pathology preparatory program online at Lasalle University, and earned a Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University.

Liz is passionate about providing dynamic and child-centered services. She has experience conducting individual and group therapy to address articulation, language, pragmatic, and feeding disorders. Liz has delivered services in the home (through Early Intervention), in educational and clinical settings, and via telepractice. Liz has enthusiastically served a variety of specialized populations, including those with craniofacial anomalies, autism spectrum disorder, and those who are hearing impaired. Liz also has experience with the practical application of low and high tech Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) tools in the classroom. 

Liz is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey. She is also certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist. 

As a proud mom and aunt, Liz connects with the caregiver’s perspective in navigating developmental differences through adulthood. It takes a village! Liz spends her free time with family, cheering at games and events. Liz’s other interests include dogs, music, volunteer projects, and fitness. She firmly believes that channeling her clients’ interests is critical to promote engagement in therapy.
