Speech Language Pathologist

Olivia Perlmutter , M.S., CCC-SLP

Olivia Perlmutter received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University. She earned a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University. Olivia has clinical experience working in a hospital, and schools treating a variety of disorders for patients of all ages. Specifically she has provided therapy in the areas of phonological/articulation disorders, specific language impairments, fluency disorders, social/pragmatic challenges, aphasia, feeding disorders, cognitive deficits, and more. In the public school setting, Olivia has attended and presented at Individualized Education Planning meetings (IEP) and provided Response to Intervention (RTI) services.

Olivia’s passion for the field of speech-language pathology was inspired by  her twin sister who has special needs. As a sibling, Olivia has had the opportunity to be an advocate and supporter of the special needs community. Her personal goal as a clinician is to empower patients and their families throughout their treatment process. She is committed to growing as a therapist and providing personalized services by incorporating family members into the treatment process, staying up to date on research in the field, and collaborating across disciplines. In her free time Olivia enjoys cooking, running, and traveling!
