Lauren Zychowski, MS, CCC, SLP

Lauren received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology/ Audiology with a minor in Italian Studies from Loyola University Maryland. During college, Lauren spent two summers interning at Creative Speech Solutions, LLC for Camp PAL. She then attended New York University where she received her Master of Science degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. After living in Manhattan for the start of her career, Lauren recently returned to New Jersey and is excited for the next chapter as a speech-language pathologist at Creative Speech Solutions.

Lauren was previously employed at a pediatric private practice in New York City where she had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan. Specifically, Lauren’s experience includes assessment and treatment of children from birth -18 years related to prelinguistic development, expressive and receptive language, speech sound disorders, social-emotional skills, fluency, autism spectrum disorders, executive functioning, and literacy. Lauren worked closely in collaboration with occupational therapists and behavioral specialists, including completion of joint therapy sessions, to further support children’s sensory, behavioral, and emotional needs. Additionally, Lauren assisted in leading weekly socialization groups and providing supervision to graduate students completing clinical placements. Lauren is currently licensed to practice in New Jersey and New York as a speech-language pathologist. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Speech Language Specialist (SLS) and holds her initial certificate from the New York Department of Education as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). Lauren is also trained in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT). Lauren is passionate about providing holistic care as well as collaborating among all relevant team members to best support her clients.

Lauren recently moved to Summit with her husband where she loves to cook new recipes, go for walks, try new restaurants, and spend time with family and friends.
