Speech Language Pathologist

Kellie Buoye, MS, CCC, SLP

Kellie is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association-certified speech-language pathologist, licensed in the state of New Jersey. She has experience working in pediatric settings including school-based and private practice clinical settings. Kellie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Rhode Island. She then went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Adelphi University. 

Kellie has experience in evaluating and treating pediatric and young adult populations with a variety of speech and language needs  including: Articulation disorders, Receptive, Expressing and Pragmatic Language delays and disorders, feeding and swallowing difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), and Down Syndrome. She specializes in treating and assessing individuals ages 3-21 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum and related disorders, as well as assessment and treatment in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Kellie has received training in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets, DIR-Floortime therapy, various AAC language technologies such as Proloquo2Go, LAMP, GoTalkNow and TobIIDynavox eye gaze technologies, and the Sounds In Motion literacy program. She has a passion for developing a child’s overall engagement and speech and language development, through hands-on, experience-based learning opportunities. Kellie’s focus in therapy is to build a  trusting, meaningful relationship through play by incorporating her client’s passions and interests.  

In her spare time, Kellie enjoys yoga, cooking and snuggling her two fur babies!
