Georganne Fitzpatrick , M.S., OTR/L
Georganne has 20+ years working in the field of Occupational Therapy. Georganne began her career in OT as an OTA. She continued her education at Dominican College where she completed her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2006. Georganne specializes in pediatrics and has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, public and specialized schools, private clinics and Early Intervention services in the home.
Georganne has worked with children aged 0 to 21 with a wide variety of diagnosis including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Neurodevelopmental disorders, developmental delays, gross and fine motor delays and handwriting difficulties.
Georganne has participated in the Handwriting Without Tears Workshops and Mary Benbow Handwriting Programs. She has completed continuing education courses in the areas of Sensory processing and self-regulation, Yoga for the Special Child, Mindfulness Training and created sensory diets based on the Brainwork’s Self-Regulation Program and Zones of Regulation.
Over the years Georganne has assisted with various recreational programs including Special Needs Karate and Hippotherapy. Georganne enjoys the outdoors and in her free time she enjoys hiking, biking, horse-back riding, yoga, crafts and working out at the gym.
