Feeding & Swallowing Therapy
Speech-language pathologists on our team specialize in treating the following:

• Sensory-motor based behavioral feeding issues (e.g., feeding aversion, failure to advance to age-appropriate foods, food selectivity/limited diet, negative mealtime behaviors, gagging)

• Mechanical feeding dificulties (e.g., immature chewing)

• Myofunctional therapy (i.e., tongue thrust, reverse swallow)

• Therapeutic Feeding Groups DINNER WITH FRIENDS is a fun, small group program that is designed to help children build food repertoires in a social non-threatening manner. It is run by a speech pathologist and an assistant. A screening process will determine if your child is appropriate for the current group that is running. Contact the office for additional information.
